Black Gloss Galley Kitchen

A galley kitchen rebuilt from a stripped-back shell: black gloss units, sparkling white quartz worktops and under-cabinet lighting.

Before: the kitchen stripped back to bare walls and floor, looking through the doorway to the hall

This galley kitchen started as bare walls and an open floor. It was rebuilt with black gloss units and curved bar handles, white quartz worktops and matching upstands with a fleck that catches the light, and a glass splashback behind the gas hob.

LED lighting under the wall cabinets makes the worktops glow and gives the cook light where it is needed. An inset stainless sink, built-in oven, oak door and dark wood floor complete a narrow room that now feels twice its size.
